Reel Recipe: Ahi Tuna Tower Salad
Soy Dressing
6 eggs
5 cups olive oil
2 cups teriyaki sauce
3 tablespoons fresh ginger
¾ cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
½ cup sesame seeds
¼ cup chopped cilantro
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients except olive oil until smooth.
While blending, slowly drizzle in the olive oil to emulsify the dressing.
Wasabi Cream Sauce
4 cups sour cream
1 cup wasabi powder
1 cup honey
Instructions:
Whisk together sour cream, wasabi powder, and honey until smooth.
Assembly
Place cooked soba noodles on a plate.
Toss mesclun lettuce in the soy dressing and layer on top of the noodles.
Arrange fried wontons and sesame-encrusted ahi tuna in a layered tower over the lettuce. Use a toothpick to hold the tower in place.
Drizzle with additional soy dressing and wasabi cream for garnish.
